ne of the most moving days so far this year was when I witnessed hundreds raise their hands, at a rally at the Utah capital, and repeat after a member of the Oath Keepers an oath to support and defend People’s Law.
I am a 20 year retired(fleet reserve)Navy veteran. I solemnly swore to support,defend and bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Not only did I do this once but five times during my Navy career.
My first “Oath” was at the age of 18 when I joined the Navy. I joined the Air Force reserves in 1985 and retired in 2004. I, as all who have taken the “Oath” swore to uphold and defend the Constitution. That oath will expire when I expire. I took the “Oath” again when I entered law enforcement.
Sheriff Mack’s newest book covers decades of research to prove once and for all that the sheriffs in this country are indeed the ultimate law authority in their respective jurisdictions. The sheriff absolutely has the power and responsibility to defend his citizens against all enemies, including those from our own Federal Government.
It is our duty to stand up for the Constitution, it is our Duty to honor our Oaths and the blood that has been spilled to free America. I am proud to stand with my brothers and sisters in this “Animating contest of Freedom.”
By the time my orders were cut I had to re-enlist to accept them. My father served in the Coast Guard in the North Atlantic and his brothers all served in the Navy in WW ll. My twin brothers served in the Army Artillery in Korea. My younger brother and I both served in the South China Sea; he was aboard the USS Brinkley Bass DD-866 and I rode the USS Constellation CVA-64 (later CV-64) before I went to Danang and he went to the Delta.
If you actually read the contents of this website, you will see that nobody in this organization is advocating the over throw of the government. What is being advocated is resistance. Oath Keepers talks mostly about what they will not do.
It is like history repeating itself here. Let us all open our eyes before this Great Nation is No More! Time is running out! We all need to join together and do what is right for the future of This Great Country!
I am thrilled to find a group of like minded individuals. I have been thinking for several years now about the oath I took many years ago that I have not and will not ever retract.
I took the oath back in 1962,so that makes me a senior vet.None the less the oath to defend the constitution means a great deal to me as it did back then
I am proud to be a new member and I want to thank you for giving this Veteran a renewed since of hope and pride. We all have our work cut out.
As an enlisted airman, then an officer in the USAF, I joined the military to help serve my country after both my older brothers had served before me. They left for civilian careers, but I chose to serve for over 20 years and am very proud of my service.
I just discovered Oath Keepers and as a former United States Marine I took my oath 33 years ago and it means as much to me today as it did then.
I now feel like I’m signing again… with God’s Grace to serve in this Outstanding membership with patriots that see the need to take back our country from socialism and big government and protect the People.
My father gave me a name that was clean, and I have striven to keep it so, through 30 years of Police Service and other opportunities to serve the People of the United States.

Being released from active duty last year and finding out what was happening on the home front blind sided me. I was dumbfounded, lost and sometimes still am.
