The Oath I Swore To Was The Most Important Promise I Could Make

Leefacebook As a military veteran and one who believes to this day the oath I swore to in 1970 was the most important promise I could make, I am proud to be a member of the Oath Keepers. Throughout our history men and women have risked all, and in many instances given their life for this country. Without hesitation I can say we have the best country in the world. We have liberties and freedoms that must be constantly guarded and protected. Patriotic Americans understand the importance of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, but less patriotic people are under the delusion they can circumvent these founding documents. Our fore fathers knew the citizenry would be tested over time and included protections for the people in our founding documents. Many of our elected officials and some not elected (czars in particular) are attempting to subjugate the citizens. Plans to take away our liberties and freedoms will not come to fruition because we are coming together. We will protect our country from those who would do us harm. They should understand that you don’t poke a bear with a stick. Eventually the bear will get upset! I got a news flash for them…..the bear is upset!! I am proud to stand with those men and women and say to all who make this futile attempt “NOT ON MY WATCH”! This promise won’t be broken or negotiated!

Lee, Thank you for your service to our country.

I took the Oath today in Franklin, WI . It was administered by Larry Gamble to around 100 of us at a small Tea Party. I plan to join Oath Keepers as a citizen member and will send my check in tomorrow.

If our founding fathers were alive today they would join in a heartbeat. Oath Keepers is the last line of defense against those determined to extinguish the constitution of the United Sates.

Mr. Groharing, thank you so much for all you have done to help ensure that my children have half of a chance to grow up as free persons upon this Earth, your efforts will not fall upon deaf ears when it comes to my family,..please all do disregard comment #5 that individual is in the process of being permanently removed and banned from this site so please no one pay any attention to the TROLLS as they will only bog us down, lets all carry on..

Oath of Enlistment

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
