The uniform no longer fits, but my oath always will

flag

I proudly took my oath in 1969 when I enlisted in the Army, my country’s flag and all those who serve under it took up a special place in my heart from that day forward. When I left the service, my 1st Infantry uniform and my oath came home with me. The uniform no longer fits, but my oath always will.
