Quote of the Year: “We swear an oath to the Constitution, not to a man, even if he makes a thrill run up your leg when he talks.”
Stewart Rhodes, Founder of Oath Keepers (to Chris Matthews on Hardball, Oct. 21, 2009)
Quote of the year! So says The Biker Republic website (special hat tip to “Renegade”). The good folks at The Biker Republic also have some choice words for Chris Matthews and Mark Potok (SPLC) too. Go check them out!
Wow, the Biker Republic Quote of the Year! We here at Oath Keepers consider that a real honor. We figure that nowadays that’s gotta be at least as good as the Nobel Peace Prize! Doncha think?
Speaking of motorcyles and police, Dave Freeman, our national peace officer liaison, is a many decades veteran motorcycle officer from Las Vegas Metro. Boy, the colorful stories that man has stored up in his head, what with all his escapades from so many years of riding the streets of Vegas! He can keep us laughing for hours. Gotta warn you though. If you thought military guys had a warped sense of humor, wait till you get a dose of bike cop humor. It must be all those long days in the hot sun, with their brains cooking in those helmets like hard boiled eggs. Those of you who will be attending our conference in Vegas this weekend are in for a real treat (ask him to tell you the story about the house cat his buddy flicked on the nose, to keep it from rubbing on his pants).
Dave Freeman, Story Teller Extraordinaire
Just how long ago did Dave start patrolling the streets of Vegas? Well, just the other day Dave was telling me a story about the old days, when he and his partner were awarded a special commendation for their fast thinking when they came upon a dead Terydactle that was laying in the middle of the Vegas Strip, blocking both lanes of traffic, causing a very serious public safety hazard. Displaying the kind of fast thinking and decisiveness Metro Motorcycle officers are renowned for, the intrepid duo skidded to a stop, jumped off their bikes, grabbed hold of the wings of that Terydactle, and drug it off the street as fast as you can say “brontosaurus!”, restoring the normal flow of traffic in the nick of time.
Ah, the good old days!
For the Republic,
Stewart Rhodes

Heh! Sheesh, Stewart – you’re letting *BIKERS* be members in Oath Keepers? OMG!
When I met Chauncey Normandin, he was not on a bike, so I did not suspect him of being a biker. He was my hero up until I learned he’s a danged biker. I’ve not met Dave Freeman yet, but from viewing his presentation at the Lexington Green this past April 19, 2009, I’d never have pegged him to be a biker. Now I’ve got to reappraise my mental image of Dave as well as that of Chauncey! BIKERS! Holy Smokes!
Now I have to make the emotional adjustment to learning that we have *BIKERS* in our midst! Oh the shock! Oh the dismay! The very thought of it! Just imagine going down to the OK Corral for a stand-off and seeing the corral packed with bikers and iron-horses instead of cow-pokes and horses! What’s the OK Corral coming to?
This is life-altering news. I’m glad none of us vets, especially none of us ‘Nam vets, ride those nasty ol’ bikes! If Hardball or the SPLC were to find out that some of our officers are bikers, they’ll give you hell next time you’re on the tube. Better think about this, Bro….
Salute!
Elias
PS_ Nice pic of Dave, ya think?

Howdy y’all,
Been riding my old 1985 HD Wide Glide with 150,00 miles on her during most of my 20 years in the USAF. I’m a Lone Wolf but have partied with many M/C clubs. Whats the chances of a “Oathkeepers” M/C club starting up? This would interest me. any others? Just a thought to run up the pole. Oh…by the way….my wife is going to let me take my manhood out of the fridge next spring and allow me to get a new bike. God, I love that little woman!!1

In addition to my last post…..the SPLC trash of the world has nothing on us. We as a group of Constitutional defenders, are the real thing!!! Those SPLC grub worms do one thing and they do it well…they throw out remarks such as ” Racist, Rightwing Extremist, Hategroup…” In the past, people or groups had to try to defend against the label. No More! We should turn the table on the grub worms and label them as Anti-Constitutional! An Constitutional hate group!!! Any chance we get…hammer it home that WE are the defenders of the Constitution…. They are the enemy!

Dear Mr. Rhodes: (please forward)
I admire what you guys are doing and in a way that you are there, just in case. It’s a threat. But we will let you know. The Tea Party Patriots and others are really pushing the White House, the senate and the congress, and the media and the capitols in each state to stop them.
My greatest fear is Marshall Law. Although you are armed, they will cease weapons, they will control transportation and communication and you can’t leave the country. And it will be a federal offense to have a gun. I am sure you know all this but violence is not the way to go. People will die and it would be awful not to mention it will self-defeating in a lot of ways.
I respectfully ask that you please be patient until we get them to act. Kick out all the dems and republicans for that matter and we perhaps may start a new party the “Independents”, for instance. There are options. There are millions of us 1.7 went to Washington, DC on 9/12,2009, and only what 564 of them. If we play our cards right we will win.
Thank you

Elias, hell, Chancey is alright. At least he wasn’t one of those pilots sucking oxygen at 42,000 feet. Ask my brother… it rots the brain.
