My Oath Reinforces My Commitment To Our Constitution
I took my first Oath in September of 1984 at MCRD San Diego. I have taken it at least a half dozen times since then. Every time it reinforces my commitment to our Constitution.
I spent 12 years in the Marine Corps infantry defending other nation’s borders and in 1996, with the birth of my first child I decided it was time to defend our nation’s borders. I left the Marine Corps and join the Immigration and Naturalization Service and headed to our southern border.
9/11 woke me up in terms of politics. While I have always been a staunch conservative, I had always referred to myself as a Republican. No more. When people ask me about my political philosophy, I state simply that I am a Constitutionalists!

I also took my firt Oath to defend the Constitution in August of 1981 at MCRD San Diego, CA and never once did I actually believe that in my lifetime there might be domestic enemies inside our borders that are trying to usurp our Freedoms until just recently. I have always been a staunch conservative and always believed that those brought up in this Land of Liberty would always embrace the values, morality and integrity that has made this country great and God Blessed, but I now know that there are those who would willingly undermine and takeover our common good for a more devious One World agenda. From one Constitutionalist to another, Semper Fi and OooRah!

Semper Fi, brother. As Thomas Paine said, “These are the times that try men’s souls.” Those of us that understand our oath are starting to come together. We must for the sake of our country and our children. The Oath Keepers are the tip of the spear of this new movement in our nation. NOT ON OUR WATCH.

Semper Fi Brother!! During my career I had the duty to designate six Marines to serve in Beruit. The six didn’t come home. 12 of the Marines I trained as a Drill Instructor died with them. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would have to question my government!!!

I too refer to myself as a constitutionalist. Thank you for being a US Marine. Thank you for serving in the INS. I wish you had all the support that is warranted by our illustrious government. God bless you and be safe.

I like the word Constitutionalist. It’s meaning is veryb clear. I’m proud to have joined this group that all love our country and revere the Constitution of the United States of America.
