I am Gib Buckbee. I am an American!

I am the only son of my Father, Gib Buckbee, who was the only son of his father, Gib Buckbee, who was the second son of his father, Gib Buckbee, who was the forth son of William Buckbee, second son of Elijah Buckbee, as descended from John Buckbee, descended from Elijah Buckbee, descended from John Buckbee, descended from John Buckbee, descended from Richard Buckbee, who first stepped on to this great land, in the year of our Lord, 1630, and who was born in England.

For eleven generations, our family has toiled in this land, with modesty and reverence.

I am three-star SAR, Founders and Patriots, an Eagle Scout and believe in Duty, Honor & Country.

Our ‘Family Motto’, below our ‘Coat of Arms’, reads: “Pro Aris et Focis”, ‘for God and country’.

We are related to King Edward III of England, arrived in these colonies in 1630, with Winthrop, fought in the French & Indian War, The Revolution, The War of 1812, The Civil War, and both World Wars. We were river pilots on the Delaware, had a Black Smith Shop in Buckbee Corners NY, founded the Buckbee Seed Company, served in the US Senate, and founded the Town of Buckbee Wis.

We ran cattle up the Santa Fe Trail, and had shootouts with bad guys, in saloons, to clear the way for others. We created the Buckbee-Mears Corporation, made the famous Buckbee Banjo’s, taught school and wrote Children’s books published by Harper & Brothers, manufactured Soda Pop, and had a guy, named Ed Buckbee, hired by another guy named Wernher Von Braun, involved with the NASA program to walk on the moon!
We founded this country, colonized it, defended it, freed it, fought to keep it whole, industrialized it, educated it, and took it to the moon!
We are this country!

Gib welcome to OK. Your history is very impressive. We all took the “Oath” with no expiration date.
Thank you and your family for standing up for our great Republic. We have our work cut out for us but we will “get UR done”

Oath of Enlistment

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
