Oath Keepers and Gathering of Eagles hosted a dinner after the march and an Oath Ceremony administered by LCDR David Gillie at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

I got out my copy of the enlistment papers. I re-read my oath. I started praying on that oath. I realized then that I had committed for life to protect the Constitution and the liberties and freedoms it represented.

The day I took my oath of enlistment was the proudest day of my life. I was now a “Defender”. I spent my time in the Air Force at a time when it was not the “popular” thing to do.

There are too many in our country and in our political system that do not keep the oath of office or read the United States Constitution exactly the way it is intended by the founders of the constitution.

“Our goal,” he said, “is to support and defend the Constitution, and that’s where it begins and ends at. . . . We’re not a hate group. We’re not a racist group. We’re not calling for armed revolt against the government.”

It has been paid for many, many times by those who have served this great nation in uniform, regardless of whether or not it was during times of peace or times of war.

our country is experiencing many of the same challenges that it did thirty years ago. Our economy is in the dumps, our national reputation is supposedly suffering, and the forces of Socialism seem to be overwhelming us.

I’m proud to have served in the U.S. Navy aboard the destroyer Samual B. Roberts (DD823). I took an oath to support the United States, and its Constitution

Power held by local jurisdictions is the only power that will trump and defeat the growing intrusiveness of the federal government was the main message Mack carried to the crowd Saturday.

I still remember the oath that I took, most especially the defend against the foreign part, and until just recently really paid attention to the Domestic part of it.

America do not blindly follow leaders who purpose that we trash the US Constitution and remove God from our country. Demand your elected officials do their jobs,
I swore to defend the constitution back in 1977, and again in 1981. That can’t end with the removal of the uniform. It must be defended for all, forever.
We have to stop and even reverse that damage. I am not saying we can’t make laws to repair mistakes. What I am saying is we got
away from the basic foundation of the Constitution.

I have taken oath to serve my country against enemies foreign and domestic and to obey the Constitution of the United States of America.

I have served since 2003 and I am proud of the people who are on here. You are all heroes in this nation and I want to say Thank you…
