Chris Evans And What The Oath Means To Him
My name is Chris Evans. At the age of 17 I opted to join the Mississippi Army National Guard under the split option. I wanted to fly, however the stigmatism in my left eye prevented that. Of course this was before the experimental Lasik program. And to this day I still want to fly, fixed wing, rotary wing, it doesn’t matter. Since I could not fly the guard unit near me was 14-M, man portable stingers. Yea I thought to myself, if I can’t fly for my country then neither can they.
When I went down to MEPS and swore in, at the time I didn’t have a full understanding of what exactly I swore to do and not to do. Although I didn’t realize the full implications of the oath at the time I did still get chills in my spine and the adrenaline going as I spoke those words. Even to this day, when I posted the video reaffirming my oath, as well as the ceremony I led at the local tea party here, I STILL got the same feeling. Well actually the feeling was more intense now that I have a better understanding of those words. My oath expires the day I expire, AND NOT A DAY BEFORE!!
Now I am working to make sure others, especially the younger guys and gals, get a better understanding of the oath they swore. And when it comes time for our oath takers to become Oath Keepers, I will be here to stand with them! The beauty of the oath is that Washington can play WHATEVER politics they want, but the burden of enforcement falls upon oath takers. That being said, if we just FOLLOW the law, we will once again be a FREE REPUBLIC! This is what our Founding Fathers had envisioned for you, me, and our children.

Yeah, there were/are goose bumps, and no, I had no true understanding as to what I was swearing to.
I do now…, and it’s the best thing I ever did, excluding my Daughter, of course.
I am so thankful for the patriotism and inspiration I receive from this site and please know that whenever possible, I take what I glean here out there, and for me that is in my classroom. Children know they are living in a fragile country, but I can see them gain renewed strength everyday when they are exposed to the miraculous history of this country and the inspiring documents that gave a solid foundation for our country to develop on. Thanks for being one of the standard bearers.

THANK YOU! I served as an MP for 6 years, then reupped with the Guard in Mass. right after 9/11. We’ve spent too much time as a spectators, watching this gov. transition into a left-wing dictatorship over the past few decades. Oath Keepers is necessary and I’m glad it exists. I’m an American Indian artist and veteran and I will not sit this fight out. I don’t get much traffic on my site, but I’ll be linking onto yours, for what it’s worth. Well Thomas Foley, freedom is to valuable to throw together a plan when the news breaks that the president has given our sovereignty to foreign powers at the last minute. If fact, when we are not at war we still have a military that trains daily to be prepared for wartime action.
That said, if you watch the video up at the top of this page, the one with the flag backdrop, you’ll learn that a city already was walled off and unlawful search and seizure of fire arms. All this in New Orleans after Katrina went through.

I am a 20-year active duty (’59 – ‘79) retired Marine (enlisted and officer) with two full combat tours in infantry in VN (2nd BN, 1st Marines and 1st BN, 7th Marines) who was WIA three times … my last 10 years as Marine was a school-trained and experienced Interrogator all over the world. Later I was a DOD/Army civilian for 20 years. I earned 5 degrees on the GI bill (3 AA degrees, BS and MS degrees). I consider myself pretty level headed and I have tried to run for public office and never won.

i just watched the excellent video on youtube “oath keepers declaration of orders we will not obey”. i am a keeper of the oath. why at the end of that video, the flag upside down? please have someone correct it asap.
You know that it is a small percentage right now and hopefully growing that will be on the side of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. It will be like our founding fathers opposing the British all over again! The 2nd Revolutionary War is about to begin. All it will take is a false flag event or financial colapse or something else that will force martial law upon us. When it happens, it will be the bloodiest War to ever be fought on this Earth. The American Patriot will not give up til dead and the brain dead globalist army will fight like a dumb animal til dead. Unfortuantely, most of those brain dead globalist soldiers will be former US citizens. The day they shoot at their first Patriot defending the US Constitution makes them enemy of the United States Of America. As soon as the first soldier shoots at a Patriot defending the US Constitution, Every officer and government official supporting that shot is enemy of the United States of America. They may have already shot that first shot or supported that first shot and they may already be guilty of treason. When that war starts, then it will be official, the now US Government will no longer be the US Government. They will be the Globalist Government and the real US Government will be those defending the US Constitution. It will not only be a Revolutionary War but also a Civil War all in one. Every US Citizen right now needs to make a decision. Are you a US Citizen or a Global Citizen of the United Nations? You need to pick a side, for there will be no in between.

I got a GED here in Missouri without even knowing the Constitution or Our Bill of Rights. Then I got arrested for a firearm (for protection) on my own private property with very ligitimate justifications. I was unconstitutionally charged with a federal offense of “Interstate Commerence” and handed over to the feds. My local police department done this to me. The worse part was when the feds would not allow me to submit into evidence for my defence, the police reports that I had that clearly justified why I had that 32. Then they told me I had a right to a fair trial, where I was facing not less than 15 years to life in prison. This woke me up to how bad our gov. and police are violating our constitution…Hitler style! The Rule of Man…not the Rule of Law. What was done to me was a clear violation of our Republic; the First Amendment; the 2nd Amendment; the 10th Amendment;so on and so forth. I thank God to now see public servants such as your selves willing to unhold the Constitution. It’s what made this country so free and so great./ I have two children yet to raise in this country. NOW, to Thomas Foley: WAKE UP! LOOK AROUND! SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY! The day you wake up and your City or Town is under martial law and they come into your private home and take away your weapons, your freedom, and whatever else “they” want to take away, remember that there were people out there already AWARE of what is going on in this country. I apologize to anyone else reading this, but this just TICKS ME OFF that people are so much like sheep, and afraid to LOOK, LISTEN, AND LEARN. All the money you have is not going to do you any good when the Civil War comes, and trust me… it is coming! People are getting fed up with the way things are going, and those who have the gumption to stand up are those I am proud to say I AM ONE! Bottom line… I will NOT be put under martial law for ANY reason. Why do you think the military is still “training”? Why do you think there are more prisons being built? It will be deemed “civil unrest”, “unpatriotic” acts, or whatever “tag” the “government” wishes to use, but any disagreement with the “government” and the coming actions of that “government” will more than likely end up with imprisonment! I will defend the constitution and what it stands for, and that is MY OATH, until my last dying breath! And like every Montanan I’ve EVER talked to… they will take my gun from my COLD DEAD HAND!!!

I coined the term USSA ( United Socialist States of America) because we are now a socialist country and when you see comments from people that obviously don’t understand what it means to be an American any more and have been brainwashed into thinking that a patriot is a criminal and calls you names they ARE enemies of the USA. So thank you for pointing out who you are! Comments 12, 14, and 15 are the ones I point out in particular. Yes, they do have the freedom to disagree with our values still, but to call names is typical of the socialist attitude that we Americans that support what is left of our rights we have to face.

Thank you for all of the good work that you are doing. I have read the oath that you have taken and will now sleep better at night knowing that I am not so far out of line with my beliefs and now have an organization to champion the things that mean the most to me.

My wakeup call was viewing Aaron Russo’s “America Freedom to Fascism”; after that I joined the Ron Paul campaign and listen to Alex Jones often. I do my best to inform family and friends about the dire situation we face. I will subscribe to your newsletter, and wish to thank Oath Keepers for their great patriotic service to our Republic. You Guy’s ( I’m assuming) better wake UP as to what is happening in our gov’t/everyday life. You guy’s remind me (and NO OFFENSE intended to women, but this is the problem in MY family) of my wife and her friend’s and sister’s. The HUSBAND’S All see it, the women DO NOT and HONESTLY, I don’t blame them. B/c, what is happening in America today, would/could NEVER have been thought of even 10 yr’s ago, maybe even 2 yr’s ago.

I remember the night we were called to gather around a LapTop computer @ The StowAway Inn, in Stow, MA, to watch TheArmyRedneck’s video. The room went silent at first, as he spoke and there was some adulation as we listened. I remember there being an air of respect as we watched, as we continued to learn that no matter where an Oath Keeper goes, he/she is not alone. It was encouraging to see the number of Constitutional individuals who were making their presence known via YouTube and how it impacted us that night. I’m proud to see Chris as an OathKeeper and taking a leadership roll in the fine southern state of MS !!
