Veteran Naval Officer: “The oath I took in 1966 is still in effect”
The authors of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were extraordinary students of history and human nature. The older I get and the more I learn, the greater I appreciate the sacrifice of our Founding Fathers and all who have followed in their footsteps. They warned us that freedom isn’t free and the price of our freedom would be eternal vigilance.
It has been in those times of greatest need that our trusted elected servants have at times failed us by giving up freedom for security while our armed forces have
nearly always been the protector of our God given and constitutional rights and national security.
I took the oath of office upon my commission as a Naval Officer and did my small part as an ASW pilot deployed aboard the USS Hornet CVS-12 during the Vietnam War. I believe in the Principles and Values on which our Country is founded. The oath I took in 1966 is still in effect. The oath I took here as an Oath Keeper is an appropriate description of my sworn duty to support and defend our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Our challenge today is to do all we can through education and persistence to preserve our freedom and restore the freedom that we have lost due to our negligence. We must reclaim what is rightful ours; a government of the people, by the people and for the people. So help us God.
I salute Stewart Rhodes for his leadership and inspiration in bringing attention to this vital aspect of our American concept of protecting the enjoyment of our individual, unalienable rights.
Ralph Charles Wallace

Your testimony reflects a perfect understanding of our Founding Documents. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution have to be taken together, in order to understand the Founders’ intent. You have a strong talent for expressing your thoughts in writing, too. I look forward to reading more from you.

The Constitution is indeed absolutely brilliant. No wonder some in power are seeking to undermine it as much as possible, it totally prevents them from achieving their malicious goals by placing us in a position of servitude. Truth and freedom will prevail because of loyal patriots like you, Mr. Wallace. Thank you so much.

Sir,
I salute you not only for your service but, for continuing your commitment to the oath you took at one of the hardest times in this countries history to be a member of the Navy.
My sincerest thanks and gratitude,

Welcome aboard, Mr. Wallace…thank you for your service in defense of freedom and thank you for taking a stand with us! I served as an AT with VP-46 out of NAS North Island, searching for Soviet subs and intelligence ships. Your testimony shall be an inspiration to all. God bless.
