I Was In Awe Of Every Word As I Swore The Oath

Air force emblemWhen I took the oath when enlisting in the US Air Force I was in awe of every word as I swore the oath. Yet as time went by I just did my job in Air Force and didn’t think much of it although I knew it was important. So when I got out of military I saw our country slowly going down hill till you see what we have today. I would try and educate my fellow Americans on the dangers of what was going on. Many years ago they thought I was nuts but none are saying that today.

The oath one takes when entering military or a police force is very important and unless one understands the full extent of the oath the service you render is empty. You need to understand the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights before you know what the oath means. When you understand
all this you can stand tall as a proud American and know why so many in the past have shed their blood for this oath.

Another thing is that these documents of our Founding Fathers are the closest principles to the principles of the Bible than any other documents in any other country. We live in the greatest country in the world. We were the envy of all nations of the world but now we have some of the richest people in the world who think they own the world and want to play God. We must stand up to them!

Today, we are no longer just veterans of the Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, Army, Air Force or Police because of the dangers that the Domestic and Foreign have placed us in and by the never ending Oath to the Constitution we have been drafted as Soldiers of the Republic! Our country also welcomes those who are active duty and civilians who have taken the oath.

On the spiritual side of all this is the fact that we all need God! This life is a journey and at end of it we all die and then we are judged how well we do. No one is promised tomorrow so we live each day, one at a time. The reason we are in this mess is because so many have fallen away from God. So please spend a prayerful
time each day to Our Lord!

George Washington was not the best soldier when he fought in the Revolution and there were times I’m sure he thought it was all over and they had lost. Still, he
was a God fearing man who always stayed in touch with God and God helped him through every seemingly hopeless situation. Some say he had a vision at Valley
Forge where a spirit or angel showed him the future of the United States and this helped him go on. I leave you with the words the angel told Washington: ‘While the
stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.’ To see my page on George Washington go click here.

Excellent testimony. You are exactly right about our Founding Documents. The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights in the Constitution are precisely what the ‘Orders we will not obey’ is based on. Welcome!

Welcome. You are absolutely right we have an obligation to our great republic to continue to protect and defend the very documents our fore fathers so thoughtfully wrote to ensure our liberty and freedom from tyranny.

Join your state group and see what you can do to further our cause.

Thank you for your words of encouragement, I can not begin to explain the feelings of true freind ship I felt the first day I ever heard of the oath-keepers. I am so proud to be a civilian oath-keeper, and think that we are the most wonderful people here in America, and we will prevail over the enemy. Thanks to all who are united here and across this great nation.God is with us all, we must never forget him or to thank him for our days here on earth and those to come in heavenly paradise.Thank you for our time together , and I will stay an oathkeeper, and spred the word.

The worst sin in all of this is that good people do nothing!
