Membership Packages Update

The membership packages are going to start going out in the mail today. After recent attention in the media we had to make sure our outreach material content was accurate and clear on our mission and goals. This process will take some time over the next 2 weeks to get through the first list of members. If you have joined the Oath Keepers membership, you will receive an email when your membership package is sent.We appreciate so many of you who have been patient and understanding the situations with Stewart’s family and other issues that have come up with the outreach materials.

We are a new organization having only been official since Lexington Green on April 19th 2009. We have a amazing group of volunteers that are working overtime to make this a more efficient process now and in the future for Oath Keepers.

Below are samples of our Membership cards and Certificates that are included in the membership starter packages.

  1. Cool stuff, Stewart!

  2. I’m a former Marine (65-68), retired Correctional Lieutenant (Calif), now Investigator for
the Calif. Dept of Public Health. I agree with what I’ve read. I dropped my membership with the NRA as I know that membership lists are now being kept and monitored by the Feds. I agree with
the Minutemen, but am concerned that they, too, are being infiltrated and monitored. How do
I know for certain that this organization is not being monitored, members scrutinized (and soon to be demonized and investigated)? I love my country and its values…but I now fear and no longer believe in the oligarchy we call ‘government’. I’d like to join, but…..Convince me.

  3. David,
It is without a doubt that we the Oath Keepers will be scrutinized by the media, left wing organizations, and probably some government agencies. However, as long as we stay on the task of lawfully preserving our constitution through peaceful discussion and exposing violations of our constitutional rights. And do not suggest or perform acts that are unlawful. Our opponents will have no recourse.
We are a grass roots organization of like minded individuals that will constantly remind our legislators of their responsibility to uphold the oath of office they took and that we are their employers.
This is my opinion not the Oath Keepers. And however naïve it sounds the key is to obey the law without violating the ten orders we Oath Keepers have sworn not to obey.

    Very Respectfully,
Robert A. Gomez, MSgt, USAF (Retired)Oklahoma

  4. … even if “we” are “infiltrated” / investigated, I see no room for accusations to stick. Oath Keepers is not about “organizing” for any purpose, other than getting the word out re: constitutional issues and matters of refusing to obey illegal orders. Oath Keepers has only one mission / objective and that is to find honorable Oath Keepers among our vets and active duty military / police / emergency people. Interestingly enough, one need not “join” to accomplish these objectives. There are no real “benefits” to joining. We offer no discounts at any major businesses … no “free” trip to Hawaii, no free gun nor swat-type training course. We offer no opportunity to succeed in politics nor do we offer a person a prestigious job in any of the (now gov’t controlled) major US corporations. An Oath Keeper can be successful in the OK mission / objective without even being a recognized “member” of this new entity we now identify as “Oath Keepers”. My primary objective is not to get people to sign up as members but to make sure they understand their responsibility under the the constitution and TO the constitution so that if (illegal) orders are issued to our military and/or police to violate any constitutional matter, these service-people will know their rights & responsibilities & act constitutionally, regardless of the consequences.

  5. I am a Marine. I will die a Marine. I have no fear of “infiltration”. I am a member of Oath Keepers. The benefit of being a member is only one way to put my money where my mouth is. I am actively recruiting members in CO. We will police ourselves. The mission statement is so simple, agent provocatures will be might easy to spot.

  6. I would like to say to David I belong to the NRA
GOA & the JBS & I don’t give a rats as who knows it.
Come on aboard David you will be glad you did.

  7. David,

In the state our country is in today, monitoring is THE LEAST of our worries. It is imperitive that We The People stand up for what we believe in and that those of us who were and are Oath Takers become Oath Keepers. Our oath has to mean something or else its just words parrotted for no reason at all. Join up, if not for you, then for your family and your country.

  8. I received my membership package yesterday and must state it is more than I could have hoped for. I immediately framed my certificate and hung it on the wall inside my office where all my clients can view it.

After that I read the letter which accompanied it, the read the entire ‘pocket’ Constitution, loaded my wallet with the laminated card and half of the Oath Keepers business cards. These will be handed to every law enforcement officer I know the very next time I meet with them.

This morning I affixed the bumper sticker to my car.

I could not be more proud to be a part of such an organization than Oath Keepers except for my time when I was actively serving our country in the United States Army.

Thank you fellow Oath Keepers for being the guards of the Republic. Liberty will never fall on our watch!

  9. I was wondering if I did the right thing by joining the Oathkeepers, but after reading these posts I am reasured that it is right. I also don’t care about infiltration OR monitoring, and I belong to the NRA.But most of all I am Proud to be a member of Oath Keepers.I am looking forward to my membership package so I will be able to help spread the word more effectivley. The Republic has been looking for the Oathkeepers to emerge.God Bless bless you, every one.

  10. I am proud to be a member of Oath Keepers, and I don’t care if any goverment enity has me on a watch list. I am probably already on one anyway. My Oath is as important to me today as the day I took it. I have eight grandchildren, and I will make any sacrifice-including my life- to insure they grow up in America with freedom and liberty. If we do not stand up for what we believe, we will fall for anything. God Bless our nation and each of you.
