I will educate all of the new soldiers I put in to the 10 orders

Oath Keepers,

I am an active duty soldier serving in the Army for 7 and one half years. I have served two tours in Iraq. I joined the Army because I wanted to give something back to my country. I wanted to serve, but for the past couple of years I have realized that something is not as it should be with the way things are being done in our nation. Throughout all of my research I had become disheartened with all of this and was beginning to feel disenfranchised with my service.

I felt alone.

Today I stumbled upon your organization and felt a profound sense of relief. I AM NOT ALONE! Right now I am a recruiter in central Illinois. Can you imagine how hard it is to do that job with my beliefs about the state of our nation? I will take the pledge and I will educate all of the new soldiers I put in to the 10 orders that should never be obeyed.

Thank you for creating this. Hopefully in the near future I can become more active in this organization. I feel a glimmer of hope in my heart again.

That is great news! The only training on the Constitution, that I was aware of, during my 23 years in the Army was the training I, personally, gave my troops. Thank you, for honoring your Oath to support and defend the Constitution!

Great news I was not fortunate enough to serve in the military. But that is my loss. But I am now a patriot and standing behind you guys 100%. I would encourage all your recruits to spread the word about oath keepers when they get settled in the Army patriots like you will save our great nation.

At present, our nation is not protected it seems with hundreds of thousands of troops overseas in other locations around the world. I have heard that even the National Guard are now overseas and the main purpose of these soldiers was to protect our nation against foreign attacks. However, with the insistence of “open borders” here in the United States by our so-called government, any terrorist can enter very easily and I suspect that has been happening.

My question…are most of the member Oath Keepers overseas and how many of them are supporting this movement? How will the ten orders you will not obey be implemented when this government decides to conduct warrantless searches (which is already happening around the country) as well as its desire to take away our weapons?

The true Americans of this country are patriotic and believe in what our founding fathers meant for this country and will fight for our rights and freedoms guaranteed by our constitution, but we will need support from our military.

As a soon to be AFOSI member I will personally spread the 10 orders to agents and airman in the Air Force. The elite are in for a suprise when order 66 comes down hah!

Good for you Sgt. E: However, as soon as your superiors get wind of what you’re doing be prepared to be pulled, isntantly from your duty as a recruiter, possibly be demoted, get a letter in your jacket, and be reassigned to a post somewhere at the furthest point of the globe such as, but not limited to the North Pole, in short, you WILL pay a price for freedom of speech. When the U.S. military already has a contingency of troops in training and standing by in CASE of civil unrest, THAT military will find your educating of new troops as an act of treason, terrorism or both, since federal agents are now being trained that the Founding Fathers were/are terrorists.

Dear Sir,

A question to you and other soldiers posting on this website:

To my knowledge, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were unconstitutionally started since Congress did not declare them. Doesn’t this mean you should immediately withdraw from those countries in order to uphold your oath?

More power to you for having the intestinal fortitude to teach recruits this information – You are one brave soul!

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
