I find no higher calling than to join forces with the Oath Keepers

rotcmaryland

The Airman’s Creed reads, in part: “…I am faithful to a proud heritage, a tradition of honor, And a legacy of valor….Guardian of freedom and justice, my nation’s sword and shield, its sentry and avenger.” That document is the core of an Airman’s vow. Nowhere in the full text of the same does it say that I will defend the President with my life.

My oath as an officer, when I take it a few years hence, swears me to defend the Constitution against its enemies, both foreign and domestic, and asserts that I will “bear true faith and allegiance to same.”

I consider myself an honorable man. The only choice that men of honor have, faced with a de facto coup d’etat, is to reject orders unlawfully given and offer their lives in the defense of the Constitution.

I am an American Airman. As such, I find no higher calling than to join forces with the Oath Keepers, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with my fellow Americans in our own defense. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually affirm our oath and pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
