I couldn’t believe what I was reading from the comments of James above. I thought perhaps that I had made a mistake in joining the group, but after reading all the comments, I’ve got my bearings and I’m beginning to understand a lot of things. A little history of my search for this group that I am extremely proud to be a member of:

I had heard of the Oath Keepers, but thought you had to be currently on active duty to join. I found out that this was not the case. The next step was to find the web site. As I was searching I came across a couple of them. One was listed as the “Real Oathkeepers”, and I started reading through it as I wanted to make sure I was in the right place. As I read, it didn’t take me long to realize that this was not the group I was looking for, as it was extremely hatefilled and antisemetic. I couldn’t believe groups like this still existed. I shouldn’t say it that way, I knew hate groups still existed, but it’s a shock to see it so readily admitted. Then I saw the picture of Stewart Rhodes and maligning comments made about him. Then all the mean comments about this group, so everything fell in place. Then reading this tonight completed the picture. Then as I recommended friends joining, I warned them about this, and told them to stay away from that group. I’m saddened to see that such hate still xists. But I’m glad I got the whole picture now!

Sorry about the misspelling with racist. It was a typo. But this organization’s purpose is to use their guns to threaten and intimidate people who don’t agree with them, else why take guns to a political rally.

To TCM blogger and anyone else out there listening. Oh, how absolutely horrible! In my previous posts I committed a CAPITAL offense. I used CAPS! Tsk, tsk. Shame on me.

I am always amazed that when anyone ever attacks Zionism, the absolute purest and strongest form of racism on the planet, people come crawling out of the woodwork everywhere to denounce the person as an anti-Semite (regardless of the fact that the vast majority of Semites are not Zionists or Jews!) and carry out other ad hominem attacks. It really tells you something. Oh, Pastor Hagee the leader of “Christian Zionists” (a misnomer if there ever was one!) how happy you must be.

I’m more than happy to stand up for the chosen people of the Yahweh, as I have done opposite Jew-baiters of all stripes time and again. This just isn’t the place for a debate of that nature; as the statements that either of us make could become ammo in the propaganda machine of those mutual enemies we share.

a quick note @ James: This isn’t zionist propaganda. As you’ve seen all over the site, Oath Keepers is an organization that promotes disobeying unlawful orders, esp those that circumvent the Constitution of the United States. That an Iranian general would disobey an order to attack protesters is significant and demonstrates real courage on his part. The story is wholly in line with the subject matter and purpose of this site.

Jews have a nice saying “Never Again”. I think the begining of Oath Keepers is good at heart, but not if it will be highjacked by Nazis or racist thugs. Freedom for all, you are wrong if you state any thing else other than that and I will not stand for it.
