NEVER GIVE UP

David hancock

I first took the oath in 1956 when I joined the Navy. Then again in 1963 when I enlisted in the Army volunteering for the newly formed Special Forces.

Have eight years of active duty and almost 21 in the active reserve (all Special Forces), retiring in ‘96. My civilian job was a police officer on Torrance PD. So you see, I’ve taken the OATH many times.

My son, back from Afghanistan where he received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart and CIB is now getting ready for deployment to Iraq. He also is an OATH keeper and ready as I am to defend that OATH.

Thank you for all that you are doing and offering the opportunity to be a member of this proud group.

David Rede (Laulainen) Hancock Master Sergeant 18ZULU (Ret) U.S.Army Special Forces

  1. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you both. You are among fellow Patriots and fear not for you are never alone!

  2. Dave,
Thanks for the heads up on Oath Keepers, team mate! When you and I were there, A335 was the best. But, I’m modest as always. ;-)
Like you, service to our Nation and promoting Freedom (Special Forces) and service to the people & our communities (Police Dept.& Investigations/Sheriff’s Dept) have been my life. Upholding our Oath’s should be one of the major focal points in everyone’s life who has taken an Oath to support & defend our Constitution and our way of life here. De Oppresso Liber! Long Live Our Constitutional Republic.
    Big John
