Shock and Awe: Montana Vietnam Vet Elias Alias Sounds Off on the Imposter Government That Now Considers We the People Its Enemy

NOTE: Vietnam veteran Elias Alias (read his testimonial here) posted the following as a comment in response to my piece about Obama considering a “preventive detention” system. Just as his testimonial was excellent and very thought provoking (I highly recommend you read it) I find this latest write up by Elias to be thought provoking and thus deserving of a blog post of its own – Stewart.

Shock And Awe by Elias Alias

I’m sure I’m not the only American who is in shock after having discovered *what* has kidnapped our once-representative government. The government which our Founders created has been silently replaced by an imposter government which stands now poised to levy our own law enforcement and military against us at random, based on a distant centralized government’s opinion only. No due process. No charges.

The MIAC report this past February was a loud and clear announcement of governmental intent, and it revealed how every American is now a potential enemy of the government. I’m a threat to this government because I supported Ron Paul in last year’s campaign. And in April of this year the DHS noted that returning war veterans are potentially dangerous to this government.

I am in shock, and I am in awe of a centralized power such as this, which will unabashedly belch forth this kind of treason against the very people who support the Constitution. The irony is that the Constitution which now appears to this government to be an encumbrance and an obstruction to this government’s objectives, is the very document which birthed the Federal government in the first place.

Have we the people lost our minds, or has our government lost its way? Worse, has our government been replaced by an imposter government? Is this government representing the will of the people? Does it reflect our values, our morality, our ethic, our home and family, our very souls? And does this government itself not now threaten our very security? I say this government is not the government created by our nation’s Founders. I am here to remind this imposter government that my oath was to the constitution and not to any government which cannot honor that founding legal charter.

Herein we see the great need for, and value in, Oath Keepers. Take cheer, good soldiers! The Beast has shown its hideous face in governmental proclamation, intrusive and offensive legislation, usurpation of this nation’s monetary issuance, and a fascism consisting of the marriage of Wall Street and Washington D.C. The government itself has demarked our line in the sand. Now Americans are rearranging in our minds and hearts the order of allegiance and obedience to the government, and our allegiance and obedience to our individual consciences, to our homes, to our families and relatives, to our local neighborhoods, to our industry, to our commerce amongst ourselves, to our religious freedom, to our stated and enumerated inalienable rights as individual human beings, to our inherent right and ability to govern ourselves.

Though the world itself be swallowed up by this New World Order, and though their emissaries are now congregated in the very heart of our Judicial, Executive, and Legislative bodies, and though the financial powers of globalism march to assimilate our beloved America, we, the people, are yet afforded one more opportunity to awaken to our peril and to rise up against this iron net of tyranny, and reclaim our great nation for the people and our posterity.

All we need to do this is the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, as written – that, and the willful awakening of our good neighbors across this land to the true nature and spirit of this Federalized threat. Too long we have slept in a bed made of convenience, creature comforts, and constitutional concessions, and all the while, as we peaceful people slept, those who sought to conquer us from within have tip-toed into our very seats of governmental power.

I swore an oath & never relented .. Thank you for committing to we the people.. Men of you courage are the tide turners on tyranny.. We need your efforts to contain the evils that beset our country..We lkive in perious time but together we can maintain.

I Second the emotion. I got your back. Senior citzen, Vet, US Army, Tanker, 2nd Armd Cav. The Oath I took has no expiration date! Plus I haven’t forgotten my training! Know lots of other vets feel the same way. We should try to organize a veterans March, everybody would join us! The people are frightened, confused and angry. They are waiting for a leader. We are their heroes. We are over 24,000,000 strong. That’s 24,000.000 leaders united under one cause…Defend The US Constitution.Lets march from Ground Zero to the NBC Building. We’ll see if the media can hear us then! ! !

I was at the DC Tea Party on 9-12-09. We rode in on the Metro from Springfield, VA. There was a Fairfax Co. Virginia officer on duty at the station. He was thanking everyone that passed for what we were doing. Thousands of patriots must have passed him on their way to exercise their 1st Amendment freedoms.
I stopped and turned back to talk to the officer. He thanked me and looked like he was about to tear up, it was really an emotional moment that is hard to describe. I asked him if he had heard of Oath Keepers. He said he had not. I gave him the web address and explained the principle.
He shook my hand very firmly and said he would definitely uphold his oath and thanked me again for what we were doing.
WE THE PEOPLE need more officers like this one! Citizen patriots need to spread the word!

And I would like to thank awakened citezen (#6),for the reasurance that there is probaby “an army) of former oath takers out there that are now becoming aware of the fraudulent and tyranical direction that this government is now taking us.

I couldn’t agree more … what in the world has happened? … but, fear not … the Truth always wins in the end … We The People will all awaken to this and vote them out … if there’s still time to do so … if not, then we will take our proud Republic back by force if need be!

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
